Kuriology Art is influenced by my interpretation of 'Cabinets of Curiosities'. Kuriology sculptures are mainly mixed media & of assemblage creation, primarily using recycled & re-purposed materials. Yea, I care & worry about environmental issues.
With a background as an antique restorer in my younger days - I am inspired by traditional museum Kunst Wunderkammer - ‘Cabinets of Curiosities’. Creating bizarre & weird creations. Often of steampunk & Goth genre, drawing upon themes of classical mythology, folklore, witchcraft, classical Greek & Roman sculpture, natural history & other such antique & vintage artifacts, specimens, & object d’art.
